Sheri Paoletti

Milton Blinds recently sat down with Sheri Paoletti of RE/MAX Real Estate Centre to discuss the spring market and how to get your home ready for sale. If you are considering moving this spring and want to learn more about preparing your home, staging, online marketing and more, have a look at some of the questions we posted below from our meeting.

Milton Blinds can always assist with repairing old blinds or shutters, ordering new window covering or even provide maintenance tips and videos on how to clean vertical blinds, roman shades, roller shades, zebra blinds, California shutters and more.

But for house selling, we turn to the experts!

As an award-winning real estate sales representative, Sheri’s goal is to provide you with a stress free, positive home buying/selling experience.

Sheri’s years as a trainer in sales and negotiating techniques are accompanied by RESA Certification in Staging, Fundamentals of Staging Certification. She has a strong social media marketing presence and a warehouse full of inventory to ensure optimal results for all clients.

Q: What are 3 things that are important to know before buying a home?

  1. The age of the home.
  2. The current age of roof, furnace, AC and windows.
  3. Are there any signs of leaks, past or present, or moisture?

Q: How do you focus on client needs as a primary goal?

A: My clients’ needs have always been my primary goal. My clients must feel that I am always working with their best interest at the forefront.

Q: How does online/marketing exposure benefit a home for sale?

A: Online marketing, specifically social media marketing, is crucial in this day and age.  Gorgeous professional photographs and a fantastic video flowing through targeted social media ads capture an enormous number of potential buyers who may be considering making a move if they were to find the right home.

Studies tell us that most buyers are looking online.

Q: If you had to summarize in simple bullet points what is key to being successful when selling a home, what would they be?

  1. Staging
  2. Painting
  3. Decluttering
  4. Keeping the home clean

Q:  What is the importance of home staging and why?

  1. From my experience, a professionally staged home will sell for 3-5% more than the average comparable home that has not been staged. The goal is to prepare the home for sale, setting up the spaces to showcase their intended use to ensure they look and feel as spacious as possible to all potential buyers.

Focusing on building and continuing relationships with new and previous clients is one of Sheri’s greatest pleasures of her career. Her hard work and great communication have achieved great proven results.
