YES! Everyone is talking about Bamboo Blinds, Bamboo Roll Up Window Blinds, Bamboo Shades, Bamboo Roman Shades. Window treatments are the foundation of a home scheme, it sets a tone and optical illusion of a home, but window coverings are often overlooked. Blinds, shades, shutters truly enhance the décor value of any home and, when chosen correctly, will only complement existing furniture, lighting, and home textiles.
Bare windows rarely help extenuate the feel of a space. This does not mean your window needs to be “fully” dressed all the time, but a treatment to say that is was thought of and is now complete. For example, roller shades when in the upright position and not in use still act as a valance and create a custom look.
Bamboo blinds go with all different styles of décor. Bamboo blinds are available in subtle woven wood look or full out rustic cottage vibe. The shades of colors also offer dramatically different finishes. White, cream, ivory are in the neutral family where shades of brown, gray, charcoals are more traditional. How Much Are Bamboo Blinds?
Bamboo blinds are available on Amazon or your local hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes for probably as low as $75, but these are pre-made blinds. Therefore you cannot customize the size, color, or control option.
My opinion is that if you are going to go for bamboo shades, do it right, make them perfect, let them be the wow factor or showpiece of the room, and do it once. Measuring mistakes can be expensive, and also it can be so disappointing to pick out a color in the store to find out under the lighting in your home it reflects a different hue or tone. This is a common experience from picking a fabric, texture, or color out in a different location from where it will be used. Even the paint on the walls may pull different colors from a material, for example, yellow instead of white or purple instead of gray.
