At Milton Blinds, we believe that supporting our community goes far beyond helping customers find the perfect window coverings — it means showing up, giving back, and having a little fun along the way. That’s why we were absolutely thrilled to participate in the 5th Annual HerQuest for Hospice Fundraising Event, a high-energy, community-driven initiative in support of a truly meaningful cause.
This year’s event, hosted in our beautiful town of Milton, brought together 26 incredible teams with over 100 participants, 60 dedicated volunteers, and numerous local businesses — all rallying to support Townsend Smith’s Foundation Hospice Program, which provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families during their most difficult times.
The HerQuest for Hospice is not your average fundraiser — it’s a community-wide Amazing Race-style challenge where teams race against the clock to complete creative tasks, puzzles, and activities at different stations around town. It’s fun, fast-paced, and most importantly, it fosters a powerful sense of connection and purpose among everyone involved.
Milton Blinds was proud to be one of the host stations this year, and we brought a fun twist to the event with different Blinds in Window Panes and Matching
Activity Challenge. Teams had to test both their memory and speed as they tried to match various window covering styles, features, and functions in a limited time. It was a lighthearted yet informative challenge that gave participants a peek into what we do every day — and we loved seeing the competitive spirit and teamwork on display!
Supporting hospice care is something that hits close to home for many families in our community. Hospice offers emotional, physical, and spiritual support for individuals facing life-limiting illness, while also providing much-needed care for their loved ones.
Being a part of this fundraising event gave us a chance to stand behind an organization that offers dignity and comfort when it matters most. It was also a great opportunity to connect with other local businesses and residents who share our passion for making a positive impact.

We were inspired by the energy, compassion, and commitment shown by everyone involved. From the organizers to the volunteers, the businesses, and of course the participants, it was a full community effort — and a huge success.
